ROUND ONE 17th February
Race order was 1/32 Falcon Pro Sports, 1/32 Falcon Pro F1 & 1/24th Falcon pro Sports.
The initial practice session was for 1/32 scale, follwed by qualifying for 1/32 sports and The 1/32 Sports race. Start positions for 1/32 F1 were defined from the finish ranking in 1/32 Sports. Both 1/32 events were segmented races, win from any heat, 6 x 2 minutes. After the 1/32 racing there was a seperate 1/24th practice session, followed by qualifying and the 1/24th race (6 x 3 minute heats, win from any final.) All qualifying was 1 minute all laps to count.
All cars were inspected and impounded prior to qualifying and held in impound until the start of the race.

All the racing during the day provided some very close finishes and as you can see from the results table the top qualifiers were quite close as well.
Technology in this class was intersting with new chassis being tried for the first time incopetition from Richard Mack and AB Slotsport.
Richard Top qualified by just one part of a lap from Paul Harwood. In the top heat, this trend continued with Paul and Richard finishing with just 8 parts between them. Special mentions should also be made of Martin Ellis, who ran a standard JK 3 piece Laser into 8th Position overall and also Nigel Barrow who ran one of the New Hypersport production chassis into 6th position overall (and it was his first 1/32 scale race for “some time”!
