Many thanks go to Pinewood Raceway for hosting the Final Round of Falcon Pro 2008. Race control and facilities at Pinewood are now becoming legend and we are glad to announce that the 2009 series final will once again be held at Pinewood on their new, incoming track. Turnout for the Final Round was good, but a little limited by the fact it was staged on a Saturday which unfortunately caused a problem for quite a few regular racers. In 2009 this will not be the case as all dates are already fixed, with Sunday dates.

The racing at Pinewood was close in all classes with one racer dominating the meeting. Graeme Stephenson (fresh from his ISRA F1 Finals result) won all 3 classes, along with some truly great runs from Martin Ellis, Paul Harwood, & Nick Thrower. Chas keeling also sealed his domination in production F1.
Many thanks to all racers who competed in rounds during the 2008 Series. We hope you enjoyed the racing and that you will come back for some more great racing in 2009. We have a number of New tracks to race on in 2009 and the rules have been simplified a little so the body styles etc. compliment what many of you are racing in the clubs.

Please note;- as with the 2008 series, in 2009, racers will only count double points for the final if they have competed in 3 rounds of the series, prior to the final. All dates are now fixed, so you can organise your racing calendar and hopefully get some great value hotel bookings of you act soon. Please note;- when making early “bargain” bookings for hotels, (Travel Lodge etc) you are advised to take the cancellation insurance with the package, this is minimal price, but does ensure you can obtain a refund if, for any reasons beyond our control, a venue may have to change and you need to re-book accommodation. See you in 2009!
