Racers in Blue race in Production Sport 1/32.
Racers in Black race in Pro 1/32 Sports.

All race results are sorted composites from the race sheets showing lane rotations of each driver, but sorted by overall  result as opposed to specific heat raced.
March 15th saw 20 racers tip  up for  the second round of the series.
Racing format was the same as usual with championship standing defining start positions for the 1/32 races and in 1/24th, 1 minute all laps to count qualifying. All races where segmental, 4 x 3 minute heats, win from any final.
As usual with Falcon many of the races were very close, especially in F1 with  noteable “newby” racer Brian Saunders attending his local round and winning F1 in a very closely  fought battle with Ian Fisher, the two finishing just 16 feet apart after 12 minutes of hard racing.
Martin Ellis proved unstopable in 1/32 Sports Pro, with Ian Fisher heading up Production 1/32 Sports and we saw Paul Harwood get his first  1/24th win of the series.   The 1/24th race seems to be the hardest to crack for many racers in this series as it is essential to set the cars up to maintain speed and momentum in the turns to get any kind of advantage on the straights.  Much
would seem to depend  on very careful car set-up, track to track to find that “edge”.
Many Thanks go to Ian Fisher for a very slick day on race control, John Ovens for providing the catering and North London for Hosting the race.  The next round sees the first 6 lane track of the series on  the 31st of May at Wellingborough!   See you therefor another great days racing!
